Stay off my phone after work
Go to bed at a reasonable time with phone plugged in far from bed
Wake up naturally
Cold shower / coffee meditation routine
Journal a bit—review prior day, review what I want to get done on this day, etc, write a newsletter
Make bed, clean out sink, clean off table
That doesn’t seem that hard. Doesn’t preclude me from a bunch of free time otherwise. It’s like I want to bookend my day with a routine to wind up into the Day and wind down out of it.
I would like to start doing that again.
